My professional background is Business Administration but I have a unique passion for marketing. This is how 6 years ago I landed an opportunity to work for Options Education agency as a marketing representative. Through this position, I met and got acquainted with several Australian Universities among the University of South Australia and their pathway provider, Navitas, Study Group, and other providers.
As the marketing representative in my early years of employment at Options, I was directly involved in, formulating, planning, and the execution of student recruitment activities. This involved school visits and public presentations. All these were carried out in conjunction with UniSA and SAIBT representatives at that time, John Dalston and Sebastian Raneskold respectively. John has since retired and Sebastian moved to Flinders.
My position over the years at Options changed to Administrative officer, student counselor, and later to Regional manager, and later student services director at Global Education & Skills Services Ltd, Nairobi. While serving as a student counselor, four institutions, UniSA, SAIBT, Flinders, and FISC, noted my contribution to the number of students making it to their institutions and decided to sponsor a trip for me to their campuses in Adelaide.
During this trip in June of 2014, I had the opportunity to visit all the four UniSA campuses, City East, Magill, Mawson Lakes, and City West. At the city East campus, I also visited SAIBT. I was able to meet and interact with heads of departments, academic directors, admissions teams among other teaching and non-teaching staff at both UniSA and SAIBT. I must say this gave me tremendous knowledge and exposure to the Australian programs, admissions criteria, GTE assessments besides experiencing first-hand life of students at UniSA and SAIBT.
I have literary seen hundreds of students successfully go through Australian institutions admission, many of these who have now graduated in various disciplines. I have a lot of confidence in Australia’s quality program delivery and its friendly and wonderful support to international students.
It is will be my great pleasure to recommend, recruit, counsel, and send students to IHNA like am doing for other institutions at the moment.
